Proverbs will show us the beauty of the wisdom of God. It will teach us how to live skillfully in God’s world according to God’s word. Proverbs reminds us of the Gospel (Jesus has entered into our shame, dealt with it on the cross, and earned for us the blessings associated with living wise lives) and help us to see the beauty of how God responds to repentant fools who turn to him.
