John Mcgimpsey - Pastor
As the Pastor at Grace, I contribute towards the teaching, leadership and pastoral care of the church. I grew up in Balclutha, Otago and spent the first 21 years of my life in Southland and Otago. I now live in Halswell with my family, my wife Rebecca and my three boys, Jack, Boaz and Ari. For fun I like to spend time with my family and get outdoors, I like running, exercising, cutting up firewood and watching motorsport.
JoE Carey - PASTORAL Intern
G'day, my name is Joe, I'm married to Vanessa and we have four children, three lads (Arthur, Charlie, and Noah) and a little sister (Abby). God provided the opportunity for me to study a Master of Divinity through Christ College in Sydney, which I completed in 2024. We moved to Christchurch at the start of 2025, and I contribute towards the teaching, pastoral care and 0-18 year-olds ministries.

Kristin Aldridge - Welcoming and integration
My role is to look after those who are new here to Grace and want to get connected and plugged into the life of the church. Originally, I am from America but have been enjoying the past 8 years living here in Christchurch.
David Stupples - Pastoral Intern
I serve as a pastoral intern while studying a Master’s of Divinity to complete my training for pastoral ministry. I look after our Sunday worship services with the various teams involved, and contribute to the teaching, leading, and pastoral care of the Church. I am married to Anneke, and we have 2 wee kids. I love running and being active, as well as playing music and doing anything DIY.

Hannah Jack - Administrator
As the church administrator, I serve the church in regular resourcing and distributing important information through our church-wide avenues. I am originally from the state of Georgia in the US, but am now married to a Kiwi (Hayden) and mum to our son (Peter). I love running, surfing and baking, and will always find a way to have some real fruit ice cream any day of the year.
