Sunday school

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Children are a gift from God and it is the joy of every parent to bring them up to know and love Jesus Christ.

Children are welcome to participate in the full service, we love children including the noise and disruptions they can cause.

We also provide an opportunity during the sermon for children to receive teaching that is aimed at their age group, we call this Sunday School. Prior to the sermon the children are invited to leave the service to join Sunday School for a fun and interactive lesson about Jesus from the Bible.

ACORNS (CRECHE)

SEEDLINGS

Saplings

OAKS

Key Information:

  • A parent or guardian needs to sign their child into all Sunday School groups.

  • Sunday School children (Seedlings, Saplings and Oaks) will be returned to the church service at the conclusion of the sermon.

    (you are not required to sign your child out)

  • Children will be present with you during the Lord’s Supper.

  • Sunday School (Seedlings, Saplings, and Oaks) is operational during the School Term.

  • Oaks operates fortnightly. Children aged 10 - 12 will be in the full service every second week.

  • Creche (Acorns) operates all year round as a drop off service, unless otherwise announced.

  • Creche children are not returned to the church service after the sermon. You will need to collect your child at the conclusion of the service and sign them out.
