John Mcgimpsey - Pastor
As the Pastor at Grace, I contribute towards the teaching, leadership and pastoral care of the church. I grew up in Balclutha, Otago and spent the first 21 years of my life in Southland and Otago. I now live in Halswell with my family, my wife Rebecca and my three boys, Jack, Boaz and Ari. For fun I like to spend time with my family and get outdoors, I like running, exercising, cutting up firewood and watching motorsport.
Josh Eyre - Mission and Discipleship Elder
I serve the church in pastoral care, leading the Sunday Worship services, supporting discipleship and mission while studying toward a Masters in Pastoral Leadership. I grew up in the Catlins (South Otago) and am married to Kirsten and have one son Brayden. I am an avid renovator and enjoy running and as a family we like to mountain bike on the many trails and paths accessible to families in Christchurch.
Jenny Ross - Women’s Ministry Coordinator
The emphasis of my role this is setting up mentoring relationships where women are encouraged in their faith on a one to one basis. I am originally from Southland where I worked as a nurse and midwife before marrying Jeffrey. We have two adult daughters and one son in law. My favourite fun activity apart from meeting up with ladies for coffee is pottering in the garden. I also enjoy knitting and cooking.
Kristin Alderidge - Welcoming and integration
My role looks after those who are new here to Grace and want to get connected and plugged into the life of the church. Originally I am from America but have been enjoying the past 8 years living here in Christchurch.
Hayden Jack - Administrator
I provide admin support to the pastor and our church team doing many of the routine, admin ‘nuts and bolts’ for the church.
