children on Sundays

Sunday school

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Children are a gift from God and it is the joy of every parent to bring them up to know and love Jesus Christ. As a church, we seek to compliment parents who are discipling their kids. For the first part of our service we worship, pray and sing songs with the entire family in the service. During the School term at roughly halfway through the service, we announce that it is time for kids to head to Sunday School. In 10am Service during this time, there are a variety of classes running for children ages 5-12 with discussion and activities designed to teach kids the Gospel. There is a rostered creche for kids under the age of 5. In the 10:30 service there is one Sunday School class for those ages 5-10 and a creche room is available for parents to use.

ACORNS (CRECHE)

We seek to engage our little ones with a song and story before a time of play. Parents staying with their child are able to listen and see a live feed of the church service.

SEEDLINGS

Year 1-3 kids love their first dedicated class at church. Over the three years, they cover the whole of the Bible and learn how every part of it is teaching us about how Jesus is redeeming God’s people.

SAPLINGS

Year 4-6 kids repeat the whole bible over three years as covered in the seedlings, yet this time they take it deeper, seeing the depth and richness of God’s Word.

OAKS

The Oaks is our transition class for Year 7-8. Kids are in a fortnightly rotation where they sit in the service with their parents, and then the following week they attend a Sunday school class.
