      Thanks, should be working now.

      • Alicia,So good to stop by and hear from your heart. What Truth spoken touhrgh you. Thank you. This all echoes points from my Bible study today. Reminders that God desires to wash away the dirt and make us clean, all we have to do is confess and ask. Oh, how we can tend to get caught up in the perfectionism around us and the need to be loved and accepted. How much more we are loved by our Father and He accepts us just as we are. A constant reminder to me. Thank you again for such honest words and a beautiful post.Much love in Christ,Stacy

  • The point is that we keep trying and we keep trsitung God. He is working in us to fulfill His good purpose. He is there every step of the way encouraging us to do the right thing, picking us up when we fall and loving us through it all. He’s not concerned about us being perfect. He’s concerned about the condition of our heart. Good stuff.I have been SLOWLY (intentionally) reading The Pursuit of Holiness, by Jerry Bridges. He hits on this. You mentioned we keep trying and we keep trsitung and then He is working in us . I often struggle with figuring out my part vs God’s part . We have responsibility in our holiness. We must pursue it. But, without God’s work all our best efforts mean nothing.
